I think we just found the inkie’s team name.
We’ll be playing stuff from Los Campesinos!, The Raincoats, Otis Redding, New Order, and more.

Tune in to “Notes From the Underground” RIGHT NOW for the grand experiment. I will play whatever weird, obnoxious, or embarrassing things pop up. You should listen!
I really like how connected I feel to the city. The campus is integrated pretty seamlessly with Lincoln Park, and the UPASS you receive allows you to explore everything Chicago has to offer. I love the flexibility I have within my majors, and my small classes that are taught by passionate professors. I love the visitors we are able to bring to the school. I love that I am able to balance vigorously academic courses and creative courses, and that I’m able to mingle and collaborate with people from all different areas of study.
I don’t really like the quarter system here, as the 6 week winter break is too long to enjoy and too short to get a good holiday job. The ten-week quarter doesn’t allow professors to get too in-depth with any particular readings or ideas either. I don’t like that the school isn’t as diverse as they advertise. And the cost of living in Chicago is generally pretty high. But I feel like all the cultural benefits and internship opportunities outweigh most of the negatives.
Hey guys, I’m a poetry reader for Threshold, DePaul’s art and literary magazine, this year. This is a cool thing.
If you go to DePaul you should follow this Tumblr and submit your poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, screenplays, plays, or artwork. There’ll be more information at ThresholDepaul.tumblr.com.
Submissions are open NOW and will close on February 15th, so don’t dilly-dally. Please submit! You probably write better than you realize, so there’s no reason not to.
Tonight Kevin and I are playing some of our favorite tracks from 2012. Tune in for Cloud Nothings, Spiritualized, The Mountain Goats, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, and more!
OOOOOOOH FUCK.
You guys thought I was excited about George Saunders. BUT THEN I SAW THIS BABY AT THE STUDENT CENTER.
There may be a hot sauce deity and it loves me very much.
